Bathroom installation in London
A bathroom installation needs more than fitting the visible suite. Water supplies, waste runs, isolation valves, ventilation and access for future maintenance all affect the finished room. We review the existing services and the proposed layout before we quote.
You can ask us to replace items in the current positions or assess a new layout. Moving a toilet, shower or basin can change the drainage and floor work required, so we confirm what is practical before the project starts.
Send photographs, room measurements and product details through the quote form. We will set out the work included, anything supplied by you, and any separate specialist work needed before you approve the job.
Start with the room and the proposed layout
Replacing a bath, basin or toilet in its current position is a different project from moving fixtures across the room. Send room measurements, photographs of the existing suite and a sketch or product list showing the proposed positions. Note any boxing, access panels or known leaks so the assessment starts with the actual room rather than a catalogue image.
The route and fall of waste pipes, water supplies and floor construction affect what can be moved. A proposed position may need more investigation before it can be priced or confirmed as practical. We review those constraints before agreeing the installation scope; a drawing alone cannot establish what lies beneath the floor or behind the wall.

Fixtures, connections and future access
Baths, showers, basins and toilets need compatible supplies and waste connections. Product dimensions, tap and shower requirements and the location of existing isolation valves matter before fittings are ordered or walls are closed. Send product links or a shortlist so sizes and connection requirements can be checked against the room.
Discuss how pipework, traps and valves will remain accessible for maintenance. Changes to heating pipework or ventilation may also affect the plan, but should appear in the agreed scope if required. If the room reveals damaged subfloor or concealed pipework during removal, the additional work needs assessment rather than an assumption that it was included.
Agree what the installation includes
A written quote should identify the fixtures to be fitted, plumbing changes, removal or disposal where relevant, and the finishing work agreed for this room. It should also identify which products you supply and which are included in the contractor's scope. Ask explicitly about tiling, flooring, decorating and any separate electrical or other specialist work before accepting the quote.
Access to the property, storage for materials and use of the existing bathroom during work can affect the proposed sequence. If you have only one toilet or washing facility, raise this during planning so any temporary interruption can be discussed. The programme depends on the layout, products and finishing work; it should be agreed for the actual project, not assumed from a standard bathroom timeline.
From assessment to handover
Send the room details through the quote form, then review the proposed work and exclusions before approving the job. If a different fixture or layout is chosen later, check its effect on pipework, materials and price before work changes. A fixed-price quote is for the agreed scope, not every possible issue found when old fittings are removed.
At the end, check the fitted fixtures and ask about any remaining work, access points and product information relevant to your installation. If a defect is found after use, describe which fitting is affected and when it happens so the appropriate follow-up can be assessed. Keep any agreed variations with the original scope for clarity.

Frequently asked questions
Can you replace a full bathroom suite?
Yes. Send the room details and the suite you plan to use. We will assess the existing pipework and provide a written quote.
Can you change the bathroom layout?
Often, yes. The waste route, floor construction and available water supplies determine what is practical. We check these before confirming the quote.
Do I need to buy the fittings first?
No. Product links or a shortlist are enough for the first quote. We will confirm sizes and connection requirements before installation.
How long will the work take?
The timescale depends on the room, layout changes and finishing work. Your quote will state the expected programme before work starts.
What should my bathroom photographs show?
Show each wall, the existing bath or shower, basin and toilet, plus visible pipework and access panels. Include approximate room measurements and any areas with damage or restricted access so the first assessment has context.
Can I keep using the bathroom during installation?
Some stages may require the water or fixtures to be unavailable. Tell us if this is your only bathroom; the proposed sequence and any usable facilities need to be discussed for your particular job before work starts.
Is tiling or flooring included in a bathroom quote?
Do not assume it is included. Ask the written quote to name the areas and finishes covered and identify any separate trade or customer-supplied materials.
What if old fittings reveal damaged floor or hidden pipework?
The new condition needs to be assessed before additional repairs are agreed. Ask for the proposed work, effect on the programme and any change in price to be explained separately.
Do product dimensions matter before I place an order?
Yes. Send product details early so available space, waste positions and connection requirements can be checked. Do not assume a replacement bath, shower or basin will fit the existing connections without assessment.
